What is Yoga?
Yoga is a science that has been practised for thousands of years. It consists of ancient spiritual philosophies and principles about the body, mind and spirit connection, yoga has become a popular form of physical exercise based on asanas (physical poses) to promote improved control of mind and body and to enhance well-being.
Why practise Yoga?
Physically yoga promotes flexibility and skeleton muscular fitness.
It also improves the functioning of the circulatory, cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous systems.

About Amanda van de Klundert
I began Yoga 20 years ago whilst working in the corporate world. My yoga practise helped me deal with the stress of work life and provided me with a great sense of balance. I soon became addicted. Yoga became so much more than a physical experience and more of a connection and nurturing for my inner self.
Whilst living in Australia, Asia and Europe I practised many different styles and visited various workshops and retreats. In 2013, I felt ready to complete my Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification and share with others the great benefits Yoga can bring.
Amanda is a 'certified yoga teacher' and 'certified master coach'. She continues her professional development with her mentor Shy Sayar from Tantravaya Yoga based in California.



About Nicole Keddie
I am a certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and have been practicing yoga since my early 20s. Over the years I’ve explored various types of yoga from Iyengar to Ashtanga, Bikram to Vinyasa Flow.
After working in Marketing for over 15 years I decided to take a breather - a sabbatical and explore my passion - to become a yoga teacher.
In 2017 I completed my teacher training (RYT 500) at The New Zealand School of Yoga and went on to continuing my teacher development through the Auckland Iyengar Centre. Today, I study under one of New Zealand’s Senior Iyengar Yoga Teachers, Monica Harr.
My teaching style has a strong focus on alignment and the importance of connecting the mind, body and breath into the practice.
I have an interest in the therapeutic benefits that yoga brings, which inspires and influences my style and approach to teaching.
